Your insurance plan is an agreement between you and your insurance company so we are unable to guarantee if your plan covers naturopathic care, and coverage varies from one policy to another.  We do not have the capacity to verify insurance benefits for all patients at this time. We kindly ask that you take some time to understand your insurance coverage/benefits and contact your insurance company by calling the customer service number on the back of your insurance card. You will want to ask the following questions:

  1. Does my plan cover visits with a Naturopathic Doctor?

  2. Do I have an annual deductible?  Have I met my deductible? Or how much of my deductible is remaining?

  3. What is my copay/co-insurance for visits with a Naturopathic Doctor?

We will bill your insurance company for the service(s) you receive, however insurance does not always cover %100 of the office visit charges.  You are responsible for copays, co-insurance, deductibles and non-covered charges.  Please let us know if you have any secondary insurance.

*Patients based in California: We are currently unable to bill to any insurance plan if you are based in the state of California even if your plan is listed above.

Out-of-Network Insurance Plans
(NOT ACCEPTED)

  • Aetna

  • Ambetter (Coordinated Care)

  • Cigna

  • BlueCard plans (plans based out of MA, PA, or AZ)

  • United Health Care

  • Molina Health

  • Kaiser (HMO, Core, Foundation Plans)

  • Any Medicaid or Medicare Insurance

For out of network plans, you will pay at the time of service (see Visit Fees below).  Many insurance companies will reimburse you for some portion of the cost for you to see out-of-network providers depending on your plan.  If your plan does have out-of-network benefits (OON), we proudly partner with Reimbursify so that you can easily submit your medical bills for reimbursement.

Visit Fees

If we are not billing to insurance and you are paying out-of-pocket for your services, the cost of your visit is based on the time spent and complexity of your case which is determined by the provider.  The visit fee ranges from $250-$350 for first office visits and $150-$275 for follow-up visits.  We are pleased to offer a 15% courtesy discount for all patients paying out-of-pocket for their visits, if paid at the time of service.

We accept payment via FSA/HSA cards, debit cards, and/or credit card (Visa, Mastercard or AMEX).

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We charge a $200 fee for appointments that are missed or result in a no-show, and a $100 fee for those canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 business hours' notice before the scheduled appointment time. Please note that these fees are not eligible for insurance billing.

Late cancellations or rescheduling can inconvenience not only the provider but also other patients who might be in need of timely care. Enforcing fees helps us encourage patients to be mindful of their appointments and respectful of both the provider's time and the needs of fellow patients.

Introductory 15-minute phone consultations are complimentary and exempt from any late cancellation or no-show charges.

Supplements

Supplement recommendations can be purchased through Fullscript, an online supplement dispensary with physician-grade supplements.  Supplements are an extra cost and are not included in the visit fees and not covered by insurance. Supplements are tax-free when prescribed by a physician. You may use your HSA/FSA cards to pay for your supplements.

Labs

Many conventional and specialty labs can be billed to your insurance provider even if they do not cover office visits with a naturopathic doctor.  Insurance coverage for labs is dependent on the contract between your insurance company and the lab, not with the ordering provider.  We try our best to provide an estimate of what you may expect to pay for certain lab tests.  If you have questions about coverage for lab services, you can speak to your insurance company about what you can expect for costs. Out of pocket costs for labs can be paid through HSA/MSA/Flex Plans when not covered.
