Naturopathic medicine is a holistic approach that focuses on treating the root cause of health issues, using natural therapies to support the body's self-healing abilities. It often differs from conventional medicine in the therapies recommended and the aspects of a person's health that is taken into consideration.

Virtual consultations offer real-time communication, allowing providers to assess symptoms, discuss health history, and provide personalized recommendations, similar to in-person visits.  Since COVID, the wide adoption of telehealth has effectively addressed multiple barriers to care that once existed. 

Scheduling can be done in 5 ways: email, text, call, booking through your CHARM patient portal (if you are already an established patient) or booking through the online scheduling tool which can be found here: www.lesherwellness.com/schedule

Most insurance plans will cover virtual consultations the same way they would cover in-person office visits. Coverage varies by provider and plan, so it's important to check with your insurance prior to scheduling. Virtual visits at Lesher Wellness are performed via ZOOM, which is integrated with our medical record system and patient portal (CHARM).  A computer or smartphone with a reliable internet connection and a webcam is typically all that's needed to participate.  Once your appointment is confirmed, you will receive an email with an access link to the ZOOM call.  You can also access the same link through your patient portal under the 'Appointments' tab.

Established patients of Lesher Wellness have the privilege of direct access to Dr.Lesher via the CHARM patient portal. Questions regarding your care should go directly through the patient portal to ensure information is kept securely in your medical chart.
